Graduation represents more than completing high school for Chesney—it marks the beginning of a fresh start, greater independence, and an exciting new chapter.
“It feels really good knowing that I’m graduating and will have a fresh start after graduation. I’m most excited about moving, spending more time in a new city, and becoming more independent.”
Throughout high school, Chesney created memories and reached accomplishments that she will always carry with her. Being inducted into the National Honor Society and earning a place on the homecoming court were two of her most meaningful experiences. She is especially proud of winning sweepstakes in concert band during her sophomore year.
Behind every accomplishment was a strong support system.
“My mom, dad, and uncle have been my biggest supporters. They have always made sure I kept my head up during my lowest moments.”
After graduation, Chesney plans to continue preparing for her future by earning additional welding certifications through the Associated Builders and Contractors program in Westlake, Louisiana.
Her advice to future graduating seniors is simple but meaningful: “Enjoy every part of high school, attend the events, and take plenty of pictures.”
A Studio Session Inspired by Chesney
Chesney drew inspiration for her senior portraits from her personality and country lifestyle. Her boots are an important part of who she is, but she also wanted to switch things up, embrace her girly side, and create a different look for the occasion.
“I wanted my senior portraits to show that I’m very smiley, but I can have a serious side too. My favorite part of the session was feeling comfortable and listening to my favorite music.”
That balance allowed her portraits to capture different sides of her personality—from her bright smile and outgoing energy to her confidence and composure.
“I’m a very outgoing person. I love welding, and I love to zydeco.”
Chesney’s studio portraits celebrate who she is today, the experiences that shaped her, and the exciting future waiting ahead.
Congratulations to Chesney, Class of 2027!
